Mr. Prakash Kumar is the Techpreneur, Co-Founder and Principal Architect of KartmaX – an enterprise-grade headless eCommerce platform. He is also CTO at GreenHonchos, a leading eCommerce solutions company, where he led tech implementation for 50+ D2C brands from India and western countries.
For more than a decade and half, Prakash has been on a passionate journey to unlock the potential of eCommerce businesses through technology and democratizing the ecosystem by helping businesses to start, and establish their online presence in both the established and the emerging markets across the globe.
In 2018, while leading eCom implementation for a major fashion Brand with 500+ high-street stores, he came across limitations of mainstream technology solutions. They had two main challenges – one, they were built in western markets and did not factor in the unique challenges of India eCommerce. Second, they were built on legacy monolithic architecture which was not suitable for large growing businesses. To overcome this scaling issue, he built a new solution ground up on Headless and Service-oriented Architecture which we know today as KartmaX. Once deployed on production, this solution improved the sales by 40℅ fro brands across domains. Encouraged by this success, he embarked on a journey to make KartmaX a truly best-in-class eCommerce technology platform which is affordable to all D2C businesses in India.
Over the years, KartmaX has grown from strength to strength and currently fuels the growth for 30+ leading D2C brands. It is a leading product that leverages Headless, Serverless and Artificial Intelligence for the modern-age D2C businesses.
